Charity Poker Tournament Rules
The Qualifying Rounds for the Poker Tournament will be held on October 22nd and 23rd and the finals on October 29th. Entrants will pay $100, of which $50 will go towards prizing and the Charity’s cut (The Charity will receive 10% of the $50 going towards prizing- $5.) The remaining $50 will be a donation of $50 to The Boys and Girls Club of Whitecourt and District and will be accompanied by a charitable tax receipt.
Tournament Set Up:
There will be a maximum of 150 entrants into this tournament with a maximum of 75 playing in the qualifying rounds on October 22nd and October 23rd. Please arrive early around 1:30pm as play will start at 2pm. If the maximum number of players enter the tournament, then 33 players from each day will go into the finals.
RE-BUYS: Re-buys are allowed once, at the beginning of the first break, on the final day of the tournament.
ADD-ONS: Add-ons are allowed once, at the beginning of the first break, on the final day of the tournament.
Prize Set Up:
The Prize structure will be determined by the number of entrants into the tournament, with a minimum of 3 prize winners. For every 10 contestants into the Finals we will have one additional winner, rounded up (66 entrants= 7 prize winners.)
